....Y antes de hacer una pequeña reseña del salón os presento un nuevo círculo de doujins ya de cara 2012!
I'm glad to announce the recent creation of a BL doujinshi circle called Déjà Blue
. We all have been working very hard and are now looking for contributors for our very first project, so if you are interested, please, keep on reading! : D
Who are we?Déjà Blue Circle
is a recently founded group of artists, scriptwriters and supporters that is aimed to the self-publication of homoerotic themed fan comics. We all have participated in many other projects and are now willing to launch something on our own.
The Circle is made up of five permanent members who are in charge of coordinating, financing, advertising and distributing each project, as well as searching for contributors. Our wish is to network with artists all around the world who share the passion we have for many fandoms and yaoi-related themes.
Detailed information about upcoming projects and recent news will be found on our website.
We have also created a Group that will be updated periodically
What will our projects be like?
Each project will be based upon a specific fandom, or revolve around a topic, in order to create coherently working anthologies that we hope will appeal best to potential readers.
Every time a project is started, we will look for artists who might be interested in participating, and due to that reason each project will probably have a unique assemblage of creators. There will always be a list of participants that provides links to the artists' main pages and blogs, as well as contact information and proper crediting.
The admission of contributors will be subjected to the voting of the coordinators, who will decide according to minimum standards of quality. Please bear in mind that not everyone might be able to get in a project.
However, that shouldn't be taken as a categorical rejection, but a "try again next time" (: We will reply all the messages we receive as attentively as we can.
When a project is finished it will be sold both on-line and in manga/comic conventions such as the Japan Expo of París, the MCM Expo of London, the Saló del Manga of Barcelona and so on (to be determined depending on the circumstances).
All of our projects are non-profit-making, which means nobody
is getting paid, not even the permanent members of the circle. Our only hope is to be able to get back the initial investment and, if we are lucky enough, maybe help pay the price for stands and such in conventions.
